My MA dissertation is now finished and submitted! It’s been a long slog, but it’s hugely satisfying to know that I’ve reached the end. Now the real job of writing must begin. I’ve got lots of ideas for my novel, but they need to ‘compost’ a bit, to allow the story to seep into my own consciousness before I start to write it. For now, I’m making lots of notes and reading as widely as my busy life will allow.
